QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY

 

In relation to the specific sector in which CARICOM operates, “providing Quality” has the following fundamental objective:

providing safe, excellent-tasting products respecting the NATURAL cycles, through:

- tracking of products;

- GM free;

- respect for biological times.

 

The capacity to generate Quality depends on the excellence of the CARICOM management system, in turn founded on the quality of personnel, on company values and suitable operating methods.

 

To ensure the quality and safety of its products, CARICOM has developed a strict quality assurance system, based on:

- a continuous and specific research of characteristics of quality and safety of raw materials, on a careful selection of suppliers;

- supervision of supply chains;

- precise definition of health requirements and production standards of excellence.

PRODUCTION PROCESSES


For CARICOM is essential to analyze all the processes involved in the production chain:

 

- from sowing to the purchase of raw materials;

- from storage and processing to packaging;

- from handling to the time of purchase.

 

The philosophy behind this choice is dictated by the conviction that "design" quality starts from the raw materials and ends with customers' and people's satisfaction.
