SUSTAINABILITY
Contributing to people's and planet's welfare, in a constantly changing world, today isn't only a responsibility of institution and civil society, but also of individual companies.
CARICOM has put this belief to the core of its business strategy and to the base of its "course" of sustainability.
In 2012, CARICOM has decided to adopt a "sustainability model" capable of maintaining the company's commitment to contribute, through their business, to a compatible development with NATURE.
6 key issues have emerged from the analysis:
nutrition, environment, supply chain, management of human resources, relations with the territory, and especially the relationship with people who every day buy our products in the world.
The way of thinking about doing business for CARICOM is based on two elements:
- a long-term view of doing business;
- a contribution to the creation and sharing on the main themes of food and nutrition, which is carried forward with the CARICOM FOOD CENTER.
